Poem Fix of the Day. July 14th, 2011.

Here’s a good bit of imagery by the American poet Robert Lowell.  The rest of the poem gets pretty bleak.

I saw the spiders marching through the air,

Swimming from tree to tree that mildewed day

In latter August when the hay

Came creaking to the barn.
